Utille @ German Comic Con Berlin 20./21.10.2018

Hi!

The Comic that I'm making has been named 'Utille' now (named after a location in the story) and was first promoted to the publich last weekend at German Comic Con Berlin 2018. It was fun and I enjoyed receiving so much positive feedback. It was encouraging, thanks to everyone who was there! :)

Das Comic das ich gerade zeichne wurde inzwischen 'Utille' genant (benannt nach einem Ort in der Erzählung) und wurde letztes Wochenende zum ersten mal bei der German Comic Con Berlin 2018 öffentlich vorgestellt. Es hat Spaß gemacht und es war schön, so viele positive und ermutigende Rückmeldungen zu dem Comic zu hören. Vielen Dank an alle die da waren! :)

Bristol & London November 2011

Last week I went to Bristol for the screening of La Messicole at the Encounters Short Film Festival. I met the hero of my youth there, the legendary John K, who was sitting in front of the cinema and drawing people there (you see the drawings on his blog). The queue was so long that I decided to go for the quicker autograph queue and have him sketch a little Ren into my sketchbook.

Also I was showcasing La Messicole and other stuff to the new MA Character Animation course at  Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in the new fancy building at King's Cross and I was invited by the 'couch film society' to showcase stuff at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in Greenwich. The event was guided by a keynote presentation of Gustav Praekelt, who discussed Diageo’s digital strategy in Africa.
